There section of Cammarata - San Giovanni Gemini
It was founded in 2013 by the then godmother Dr. Maria Concetta Oliveri, now National President of FIDAPA. The first President of our Section was Mrs. Sandra Gerardi who inaugurated the activities of the section with wide-ranging cultural events, also involving the excellences of our two communities. The initiatives undertaken in the second two years of life of the section by the President - now Headmaster - Giuseppina Gugliotta were of the same depth. Exuberance and copiousness in the events ended the two-year period 2017-2019 with the presidency of the teacher Irene Catarella. Today the FIDAPA BPW ITALY section of Cammarata-San Giovanni Gemini, with the President Eng. Lina Pellitteri and her 32 members, intends to pursue the objectives of the Federation, declining public events, which due to the coronavirus emergency do not they can no longer be carried out in person, in the form of video-documentary projects, using digital as a form of communication and participation. All this has in fact intensified our cultural skills in general and digital in specific, leading us to the improvement we propose and which can arise from the harmonious collaboration between the members. Thus, with the solidity of the associational spirit of our section, we strive to promote training, information, opinion, debates, skills and knowledge, to support the empowerment of women. Together it's possible.
